The Islamic holy month of Ramadan is approaching in a couple of weeks, where Muslims abstain from food and water from dawn until Ramadansunset for 29 or 30 days.  The Islamic Center of Bothell is hosting an Interfaith dinner on June 23rd, and we would like for you and members of your congregation to join us.  This will be a great time to meet Muslims from around the Bothell area (as well as Kenmore, Mill Creek, Woodinville, and Kirkland), and to learn about this special month that over 1.5 billion people around the world will be observing.

The program will start off with the story of Jesus (peace be upon him) as it is told in the Qur’an and the Islamic tradition.  After that, we will break our fast and have dinner together.

8pm – Meet and greet, then a lecture on the story of Jesus (peace be upon him) in Islam.

9:15pm – Breaking of the fast, followed by the sunset prayer.

9:30pm – Dinner is served

The event is completely free, and it’s not necessary that you are even fasting to participate – all are welcome!

If you or any members of your congregation are interested, we would appreciate it if you RSVP’d at: so we can get an idea of how many people will be attending.

We hope to see you there, God willing!
