On Sunday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m., the Advocates for Social Justice committee and members and friends of WUUC will host a meal for Tent City 4 (a local homeless encampment).  In late September, they moved to a temporary location at the High Point area east of Issaquah.  They are awaiting news as to where their next home will be – they often deal with this uncertainty every 3 months.

stewOur Senior Youth will be cooking before their class at 6pm and need some help.  The menu will be Harvest Soups and Stews (youth would make 2 varieties), Hearty breads and rolls, Caesar salad and a variety of pies (store bought or home made).

To sign up to donate items or money, cook or prepare food, and/or to help set up and serve to the residents, please use this LINK (or copy & paste below).   We especially need people to help with set up and serving.  We’ve planned a yummy menu for their dining pleasure – please give generously.  Any questions, contact Lauren Soliday at hanbok@frontier.com.   Thanking you so very much in advance!
