UU’s third and fourth principles: 3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations; 4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
This 8-week UUA curriculum will guide us in examining our values and beliefs about God or ultimate reality (or ??), spirituality (what is your definition??), ethics, suffering and the meaning and purpose of our lives. We come together in our community searching for our own personal truth(s) in life.
Join others in a safe place for reflection, dynamic discussions, study, and writing. We will examine our own spiritual odysseys and come to articulate our own credos. How does your life inform your faith, is faith relevant in your life? Do semantics trip you up?
Please note that this is not a “drop-in” class. Unless you’re ill or have an emergency, it’s important to attend all eight sessions, since they build on one another.
The class will meet in the sanctuary from 7-9 p.m. for eight consecutive Tuesdays, starting Oct. 4 and ending Nov. 22. Sign up HERE! We hope to see you there – a great class for newcomers and old-timers alike.
