According to the WUUC Bylaws, absentee ballots may be requested from the Secretary of the Board of Trustees and must be returned to the Board Secretary either in person, via the U.S. mailing address for the church listed on the web site, or via the Secretary’s email address listed in the church directory.
Absentee ballots sent via U.S. mail must be received at least three (3) days prior to the business meeting. Absentee ballots sent via e-mail must be received at least one (1) day prior to the business meeting. A proxy may be granted by a letter or e-mail addressed to the member exercising the proxy vote and signed by the member granting the proxy. A hard copy of the letter or e-mail must be provided to the Board Secretary at the beginning of the business meeting when a quorum for the meeting is established.
