By Marilyn Mayers, East Shore Unitarian Church
For the past two years, East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue has hosted an Interfaith Friendship Dinner in the spring. This year we are co-hosting it with the Muslim Association of Puget Sound and Muslim Community Resource Center at MAPS, 17550 NE 67th Court, Redmond on March 31, 5-7:30 p.m. We are inviting you and your congregation to come attend this event along with UUs, Muslims and others from the Eastside.
The theme this year is “Love, Compassion, Courage.” We have some prayer leaders but most of the evening is given over to small group conversation.
We hope you will encourage your members to come. Dinner is free though we could always use more desserts! All we ask is that people pre-register at www.mapsredmond.org. Child care is available. We just need to know how many children might need care in advance.
If you go to the MAPS website, click on the MAPS-MCRC Interfaith dinner for the registration.
