Angered by the recent immigration raids? • Heartbroken by the death of our Orcas?

Holding your breath about the pipelines? • Helpless against law enforcement racial profiling?

Believe the criminal justice system needs reform? • Overwhelmed by the ever-growing state of poverty?

To all UU congregations, members and friends who are concerned about the state of social and environmental justice in our times!

Head for the UU Justice Summit Oct. 20th in Edmonds WA to connect with justice colleagues and forge strong new working relationships. We’ll celebrate the evolution of WA UU Voices for Justice and the NW UU Justice Network into the new state action network, JUUstice Washington! Register Here.

Build tools to identify and respond to systems of privilege and oppression, develop state-wide Action Teams, and learn more about effective legislative advocacy. Join in the formal unveiling of the new organization and help us build its increased efficacy, professionalism and capacity.

Then save the date on your calendar for the Legislative Conference on Nov. 18. Align your justice work with legislative priorities and take action for shared social justice in the public arena.

Note from Deb Cruz, President of the Board:  We’ve been working on this organization fast and furious to launch it on Oct. 20th! However, even after launch, we have a long way to go in making a real difference and will need all your participation and help along the journey. Join us and move Washington State and the Pacific Northwest forward on the road to real and enduring justice for all.
