On Dec. 30, Shannon Naugle led her brownie troop in cooking lasagna and serving the residents at CUE. Thanks so much to Shannon and these girls!

On Saturday, Jan. 26, we cooked and served a Chicken Chili, prepared in the WUUC kitchen by Charlotte Benson, Liz LeMoon, Phil Archibald, and Lauren Soliday (right to left).

Beth Jawnet joined us at the camp with her two daughters, Maryam and Raqi Mar, and helped set up and serve the residents there.  It was a very delicious and successful meal and the residents were very grateful. Many thanks to all who donated food and extras to this!

There are no weekend dates available in February, so we will take a break, in terms of a meal.  Maybe we can bring them things on their wish list this month, some chocolate for Valentines Day perhaps??

I have reserved the date of Saturday, March 9 for the next full community meal for CUE!  The meal will mostly likely be a Baked Potato Bar. I will send more information about this meal a few weeks before the date. Look for my emails on the wuuc@wuuc.org list.

 OPPORTUNITY:  If there are groups (Youth, committees, classes, 2 or more families, etc.) who might be interested in sponsoring a meal, please let me know.  You can help choose the date and menu if you like (I can help).  A chance to LIVE our UU values.
