Dear WUUC Friends,
In the spirit of getting to know one another, allow me to introduce myself. I live in Shoreline, WA with my husband, Jason, and my two children, Meg (20) and Quincy (15). I attend graduate school part time at Seattle University and am pursuing my Master of Divinity Degree. My eventual goal is to seek ordination as a UU minister.
Professionally, I have been working in the aviation insurance industry for over 15 years. I am delighted to be changing directions and starting a new chapter of my professional life as a religious educator. I have been a Unitarian Universalist for a little over 10 years and have been a member of three different congregations in that time. I have served in many positions including Board Member, RE Teacher and Youth Advisor. I have also been a member of several other teams including the Committee on the Ministry, the Welcome Team, and the Worship Planning Committee. For the past 2 years, I have been preaching monthly at the Olympic UU Fellowship in Port Angeles, WA and filling in as a guest speaker at various UU churches in the area.
In my spare time, I love to play board games, read books, go to movies, and perform improv comedy.
I am thrilled and honored by this opportunity to serve WUUC. I can’t wait to get to know each of you and to learn and grow together!
