BUILDING YOUR OWN THEOLOGY CLASS

As Unitarian-Universalists, we are all theologians. This group and individual exploration will allow us to explore, develop and fine tune our own personal credo (Latin for “I believe.”) This 8-week UUA curriculum will help you examine your values and beliefs about God or ultimate reality, human nature, ethics, and the meaning and purpose of life. We’ll search for what is true in life.

Through a combination of reflection, group discussion, study, and writing, we’ll examine our own spiritual odysseys and articulate our own credos. How does your life inform your faith?  How does your faith inform your life?  Please note that this is not a “drop-in” class. It’s important to attend all eight sessions, since they build on one another.  Room for 12 participants.

Please register HERE.  A suggested $10 donation to WUUC is encouraged.  Participants are encouraged to sign up online by Saturday, September 8.  This is a very popular class and could fill up quickly.  Newcomers especially welcome!

Facilitators: Chuck Bean & Lauren Soliday

8 Tuesdays, Sept. 18 – Nov. 6,  7 to 9 pm in WUUC’s Library

To highlight our 3rd and 4th UU principles: 3rd: Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations; 4th: A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
