Economics Discussion [s]
September 24 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
This year’s economic presentation by economist John Hilke (for the WUUC auction) will cover basic economic framing of three economic concepts related to administration initiatives. The economic concepts are comparative advantage in international trade, tax progressivity, and moral hazard. The leading related news stories are renegotiating NAFTA, tax reforms nationally and in Washington State, and federal flood insurance and infrastructure rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey. The discussion will, as usual, take its own twists and turns. : )
There is plenty of room for more folks to participate. The session will begin right after the pot luck on Sept. 24 in the sanctuary. Munchies and beverages will be provided.
The suggested donation is $15/person and funds go to support WUUC.
