NAMI Mental Health Support Group [L]
July 25 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:00pm on Thursday, repeating indefinitely
WHAT IS A NAMI MENTAL HEALTH RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUP?
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) offers free services to families, loved ones, teachers, police departments, parent groups, schools and other community groups. Look at the NAMI Eastside website for details of local offerings.
The Connection Support Group that meets at WUUC every Thursday is a peer support group for adults living with mental health challenges. We gather to share our stories, to listen and to be heard, to share resources, to encourage one another, to nurture hopefulness, to develop better coping skills and most of all to remind each other that We Are Not Alone.
If you or someone you know is affected by mental or emotional struggles, please check out what NAMI may offer. Or feel free to contact Linda Sherry with questions or concerns you might have. Lsherry@earthlink.net or 206 909-3404
