Zen Meditation & Study [s]

Zen meditation and discussion: Drop-in, Tuesdays 10 AM – Noon (Sanctuary). The first hour offers silent meditation (instruction available), a short period of walking meditation, and an introduction to Zen ritual including sutra chanting and bowing (gratitude) practice. The second hour includes tea and discussion around core teachings of Buddhism from a Zen perspective. Our introductory book is In This Very Moment: A Simple Guide to Zen Buddhism, by the Rev. Men’s Retreat [os]

The 2018 Men's Retreat is scheduled for April 27-29, at Mountain Springs Lodge outside the town of Plain near Leavenworth. About 20 of us will spend 2 nights (Friday and Saturday, April 27th and 28th) enjoying the mountain atmosphere and each other's company.  People start arriving midday on Friday and leave midday on Sunday.
