He received lineage transmission in both the Japanese Zen and the Vietnamese Rinzai line. His constant practice is “loving kindness.” This workshop is an introduction to meditation for all ages. Mostly Monthly Potluck [s,k]

Mostly Monthly Potlucks are held most months on the fourth Sunday. Last names: Y-J, Main dishes K-Q, Sides R-X, Desserts. Please, everyone chip in on set up and clean up. Economic Presentation & Discussion [s]

The annual economic presentation and discussion event from the 2016 WUUC Auction will be held on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 5 pm. This year we will be covering various issues retailed to international trade, taxation, and insurance issues.  No prior training is required.  A light dinner and beverages will be provided.  Please let John Hilke, jchilke@comcast.net, know if you would like to attend, but did not sign up at the auction.  The suggested donation to WUUC is $15.

Circle Supper [os]

LauriBeth & Brad Hull will host on Nov. 4 (to avoid conflicting with the WUUC Auction on Nov. 11). Typically held on the 2nd Saturday of each month, Circle Suppers are great opportunities to get to know each other. The host prepares the entrée* with guests signing up to bring the rest of the meal: appetizers, salad, vegetables, and dessert.  A dinner theme such as Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Mediterranean or a holiday theme works well.  Wine with dinner is optional.…
