A lot of us, maybe even most of us, are not cradle Unitarian Universalists. We bring with us baggage from our past religious beliefs and convictions. How do we let go of the traditions and beliefs of our previous religious affiliations and embrace where we are today?
Using the theme of invitation, I will invite the community to consider what has happened to the American dream of home ownership in our current economy where the middle class is shrinking as wealth disparity increases. Has the invitation to the American Dream been reserved for an increasingly select and exclusive segment of our society?
