So Close… But We’re Not There Yet

Of Natural Rights and Rights of Nature
By John Hilke The Declaration of Independence talks of inalienable rights – inherent rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Some might take these as natural rights or "God-given" rights. Another wording might be the right to vital participation in the context of reality. Looking to the Future – The Times They are a-Changing
By Donna Johnson Worship Team Chair In March 2020, WUUC jumped straight into virtual Zoom church services with two days’ notice and a can-do spirit. This “show must go on” attitude kept us together as a congregation during a scary time, but resulted in some craziness from week to week.

Now, in the not-too-distant-future, when the time is right, WUUC will begin …

It Takes Practice, 5/23
– Matt Meyer, UU Musician and Worship Leader Our favorite songs, whoever the artist or whatever the style, were created in a strange alchemy of study and inspiration, of strict practice and of letting go. Spiritual Practice is a similar combination of dedication, muscle memory, and perhaps a little divine inspiration. Join us for a musical exploration of learning to risk, building the muscle memory of courage, and the spiritual practice of relationship when things around us are changing fast.
