Rev. Dan Lillie will facilitate UU 101, a two-session class offered quarterly that covers some basics about Unitarian Universalist History, Theology, and Polity. What is polity, you ask? Come to UU 101 and find out!

Now that we have begun having Sunday worship services in person again, we are also providing childcare for those that need it. In addition to our Nursery and Preschool Coordinator, Jen Ikeda, we are adding two childcare provider positions. Nonfiction Book Club - Winter 2022

Join us on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022 at 7 p.m. for a meeting of the WUUC Nonfiction Book Club, hosted by Alaine Davis and Lane Owsley. Pop-Up Blood Drive

WUUC will host a pop-up blood drive Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 17-18, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Donors are required to wear masks while giving blood, but there is no waiting period to donate if you have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Pacific Western Regional Assembly

PWR Regional Assembly is that inspirational, radically inclusive, beyond-the-congregation UU community we’ve missed. Feb. 4-6, we can engage fully, wherever we are. Whether onsite at the Hyatt along the bay in San Diego, or online in the comfort of our own homes, we will have opportunities for connection in small groups, inspirational worship, transformative learning, and just plain community fun. On Christmas morning we imagine the holy family basking in joy and awe with the newborn babe, grateful for all their gifts. Yet, as the wise men impart, all is not “happily ever after.” We may hope that the new year will mean a new world, but in real life, we wake up the next morning, and face the next day, the litter, post-holiday exhaustion, and credit-card debt. How can we remain grateful for our gifts while facing the forces which sometimes seem to overwhelm with danger and hardship? Let us gather to rest into the healing embrace of our beloved community and take the space to reflect upon how each of us may go forward from here.
