Once a month the WOMEN of WUUC gather for an informal, fun dinner out.  All WUUC Women are welcome  – no age requirement except maybe over 14.  Newcomers to WUUC are especially invited!  Make sure you are on the women@wuuc.org e-mail list to receive further information.

 Our next dinner will be held on Thursday, December 17 at the Korea House Restaurant at 20615 Bothell Everett Highway in the same shopping area as Safeway at Thrasher’s corner The Korea House.  You can click HERE to sign up now!  If the link doesn’t work for you, e-mail me and I’ll add your name.  But try the link (it’s just like an excel spreadsheet with tabs on the bottom), cuz then you can see who else is going and add some ideas to the list of potential restaurants we might visit!

Are you willing to host these dinners on a one time occasional basis – this entails simply finding a restaurant you like that has good space (around 15 people), choosing a date that works for you, making a reservation and then we’ll post it on our google doc sign up and make announcements to help get our sisters signed up!  I’ll help you as little or as much as you need! 

The dinners will not always be scheduled on the same evening of the week, but will generally begin around 6:30.  The type of restaurants ideally would vary to allow us to try new fare, but we may find a few favorites that we alternate between, same with location – if you live in Duvall or Redmond and know of a great place there that can seat at least 15 people (or less is fine too), let us know so we can all try them, and so we’re not always visiting places in Bothell and Woodinville!

At a past dinner we decided that we wanted to try to make these dinners as inclusive and affordable as we can for all.  Therefore at each dinner we will pass a pouch that contains name tags to fill out and some cash that has been donated at past dinners.  You have the choice of either contributing some money if you can, or taking some money out to help you pay towards your dinner bill.  We don’t want anyone to not attend due to finances, if possible.  This will all be on the honor system.  Contact Lauren Soliday if you have questions.
