Membership in a Unitarian Universalist congregation is unlike membership in most other denominations. Each church is democratically run, with the responsibility of hiring the minister, setting the yearly budget, and funding all expenses. The Unitarian Universalist Association, our national organization, is also democratic and serves as a resource but does not become involved in the operation of individual churches. This helps explain why congregations vary from on to another.

Membership at WUUC deepens our connections with the life of the church and one another. As we work to support our community, our programs and one another, we create meaning and connections in our own lives.

We have a flexible, online membership pathway that is engaging and accessible. If a step is an obstacle, our Membership team will find a way to change it.

If you are interested in becoming a member, talk to Amy Genova, our Membership and Engagement Coordinator, or our Minister Dan Lillie to find the right path for you.

See you Sunday!
