Annual Rummage Sale Setup
March 24, 2023 @ 8:00 am - March 30, 2023 @ 5:00 pm

Our Annual Rummage Sale is Coming!!
It’s a win, win, win sale:
– The annual Rummage Sale is a fundraiser for our community, usually bringing in around $6000!
– It’s a chance for all of us to clean out unneeded stuff.
– It’s an opportunity for the community to visit our church and buy much needed well prices items.
Dates:
Donation collection/set up: Sunday, April 7 – Thursday, April 11.
Sale: Friday, April 12 – Saturday, April 13.
A sign up sheet is below that is super helpful for us. My times are flexible and I can generally come earlier/stay later to be there for people that would like my support. Sign up early and often!!

There are a lot of ways to help:
-Donate: clothes, shoes, scarves/hats/mittens, linens, holiday, crafts, household, books, toys, lawn/garden, pet supplies, art, bikes, etc.
-Help with set up starting Sunday, April 7 (main donation day), through Thursday the 11th).
-help with sale days on Friday and Saturday the 12 and 13th.
-help with clean up on the 13th (will include getting rid of unsold items and returning the Sanctuary to its normal set up).
-Big help NOW: I need one person to set up the advertising. If you have a computer and a phone, you can do it. We have Google Docs with all the info.
Donations: You’ve all been to garage sales, so you know what to bring. Clothes, linens, shoes, bags, household, lawn/garden, holiday, tools, books, games, toys, bikes, pet supplies. Value Village will now only give us money for soft goods (clothes, shoes, linens), but we need to donate 100 bags! I’m planning on reaching out to my friends/neighbors/book club to do a clothing drive to bring in more soft goods (easy to do!).
I am looking for overall team leading compatriots along with general volunteers. Please call/email or stop me in church if you have any questions or are willing to help in any way; it takes a village as they say!
Thank you so much,
