If you would like to attend one of the two December Circle Suppers, now is the time to sign up. As he has for many years, Chuck Bean will be hosting Circle Suppers on the first and second Saturdays of December.  He is hosting at his house near Duvall on December 2nd and December 9th starting at 6:30 pm each evening.

Chuck invites you to participate in a White Elephant Gift Exchange as part of the evening’s festivities.  Please bring a cheap or used; funny, intriguing, ridiculous or otherwise entertaining; and wrapped white elephant gift.

For those of you who don’t know (or have forgotten what it means to have dinner at someone’s house!), Circle Suppers are potlucks held at a different community member’s house each month. a sign-up sheet is created each month in Google Docs, and anyone who wants to attend can put their name down along with their dietary preferences and what they are bringing. The host sets the maximum size of the gathering and any optional specifics such as discussion topics or menu themes. The default is for attendees to be 18 and older, though hosts may choose to have child-friendly events. The date is usually the second Saturday of the month.
