Dear WUUC Community,

I know this election has brought up a wide spectrum of feelings for us. In a time like this, it is good to be together to share what we are feeling and remember that we are not alone.

The church will be open tonight from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. as a place to gather, process, and just share each other’s company. It’s a sort-of potluck: if you would like to bring food to share, it is welcome, but not required. Please do come, just as you are, and bring whatever is on your heart. There is room enough for all that we are carrying. Tonight is about the people, not the plan. We don’t have to strategize or organize. We just need to show up for each other and ourselves, and be the church community that we are. There will be time to look ahead; but tonight, we look within to see what our hearts are telling us.

I’m thinking of you all and holding you in care. I hope to see many of you soon.
