Rummage Sale Prep
April 6 - April 12
This is one of our biggest fund raisers for the church, raising about $6000, which goes toward the cost of running the church, and we need your help.
First: We need your STUFF! Search your home and garage and gather up things to donate for the sale. What are we looking for?
Most anything: Clothes, linens, books, CDs, toys, craft/art supplies, holiday decorations, household items, kitchen items, sporting goods, tools,art, pet items, and more. Note: No furniture, please.
Tax receipts available on request.
We also have a Boutique section for nicer items, including jewelry.
The next thing we desperately need is volunteers to help set up the sale. On Sunday April 6th right after the service we need A LOT of people to take EVERYTHING out of the sanctuary and set up the tables for the sale. Ooh! We also need some extra tables; if you have a table you’re willing to lend for the week of the sale please let us know. Lunch is provided for volunteers.

We then need volunteers Monday-Thursday, day and evening to help organize all the sale items and put price tags on some (not all) items (Training provided).
Then we will need a few people to work the sale Friday April 11th and Saturday April 12th. The sale is 9-3. Some people stay all day, others volunteer for half the day.
Lastly, we will need as many people as we can get to help clean up after the sale. Like last year we will bag up all leftovers, load them into a truck and take them to Value Village. We then need to put everything back in the sanctuary for the service then next morning.
