In 1644 John Milton also wrote this about truth: “she needs no policies, no stratagems, to make her victorious.”  Things are different these days.  In politics, in order to bump the odds of victory for a candidate or issue, a stratagem called “framing” is often used when trying to fool voters.  But framing also helps when one is trying to tell the whole truth.  “Framing” is the topic of the morning.
