It’s the biggest fundraiser of the year! The WUUC Annual auction features events hosted by YOU to strengthen our community connections and raise money for WUUC general operating fund. Tangible delights are for auction too! Be at Diztler Hall for the Live Auction Saturday, November 16th and enjoy a FREE Southern Dinner. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., event starts at 6:30 p.m. Child care is available! All are welcome at this much needed celebration of our beloved WUUC community – bidding not required!  

If you haven’t been to a WUUC Auction event, then you’re missing out on a key element of our community. The annual auction is the largest fundraiser of the year where we auction community connections hosted by our members. Themed dinners, hikes, art classes, games nights, special events, whatever people want to share with others – now is your chance! Favorite hobbies? Something you always wanted to do but need people to do it with? We’re your people! If you have an event you’d like to share, complete the attached donation form and get it on the calendar – it fills up fast! The Auction Team is ready to help you plan your memorable event. We also auction tangible items. Popular donations are homemade food items, gift baskets, gift certificates , handmade arts & crafts, and singular items.  Somethings might be better suited for the spring garage sale — run it by the auction team to see which event it will fit best.

The Mystery Wine Grab is back! We are looking for bottles of red wine (valued $15 or above) and white wine (valued at $10 or above). There will be a box to collect wine in the church office. Contact Dawn Blomberg (dawnblomberg@gmail.com) for more information.

The silent auction catalog comes out on Thursday, November 14 and closes Sunday, November 17.

The BIG EASY Live Auction Celebration is Saturday November 16 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. – you don’t want to miss this event! Even if you don’t want to take part in the live auction element, this event is the BEST WUUC PARTY OF THE YEAR! Come be with your friends on this special night. You never know what might happen – It’s The Big Easy – A N’awlins Celebration – get out your feathers and beads – without beads it doesn’t happen! If you would like childcare please contact Kathy Fosnaugh or Mary Alexander on the auction team.
