Our Community
Engage in joyful, inclusive, and intentional spiritual community.
WUUC Defends Democracy
WUUC members and friends deeply value democracy. We support the legal rights of US citizens to bear witness to illegal actions against marginalized communities, and to publicly and legally protest those actions. We proclaim Justice as a core value of our Unitarian Universalist faith.
WUUC Statement on Racial Justice
We reaffirm our commitment to dismantle structural racism against Black communities in education, employment, housing, voting rights, and access to health care. We reaffirm our commitment to reverse the disproportionate effects of environmental degradation on the Black community.
WUUC Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that this land is the traditional territory of the Duwamish and Snohomish peoples. Their presence can be felt in these mountains, valleys, waterways, and shorelines. Let us nurture our relationship with our neighbors and act to protect their homelands where we all reside today.
WUUC Welcoming Congregation Certification
We declare our ongoing commitment to LGBTQ+ welcome and inclusion in our congreation, our community, and beyond. We are committed to inclusiveness, in worship, programs and social occasions. We welcome people of all sexual orientations and gender identities with the goal of creating deeper trust, increasing understanding and embracing acceptance.
